Redfish action was as good as it gets recently. John Euart of Atlanta and friends caught and released 21 redfish last Saturday except for their keepers of 26 inches. Two triple hook-ups and several doubles made it exciting for all aboard. Several of the redfish were between 32-34 inches and 10-12 pounds.
For Russ Hodges and his buddies their catch was much the same as triple hook-ups were experienced at the same time with all rods bent and drags screaming as the 10 pound plus bull redfish peeled off the line.
Lewis Glenn from Atlanta, and friends also enjoyed getting their limits of redfish and scallops.
Hopefully, the big bull redfish action will continue throughout September.
