FISHING REPORT
| May 17 2004 |
|---|
| | Besides catching a few keeper spotted seatrout, mackerel, blue runners and jack crevalle, Brian and Joseph Schilden of Atlanta Georgia had a ball catching 30 sharks of three species including the bonnet head or shovel nose, the black tip, and the spinner. | | |
The action was non stop for 2 hours, the sons along with their father, Mike, booked a two day trip with me recently. We caught a little of everything that day except redfish. | | |
Using 10 pound Power Pro line and Shimano 2500 FH reels and dead shiners the action was reel fun, the drag hummed, the sharks jumped and numerous cut-offs were experienced. The largest shark measured 40 inches. | |
I will let the pictures tell of a 1000 words. Got to go hook a poon. Mike hooked and released a 70 pound using a sand angel.
