| On a calm day it would be nice to see some fish and not use your Combustible Motor or Electric Trolling Motors as well. Among the fleet of tarpon addicts, we all are guilty of using too much juice and not enough poling. |
Yesterday, a weekend fisherman motored through the tarpon holes and lit up a bunch of perhaps 50, they were all rolling and they were not happy. I waved frantically much like a referee moving his arms back and forth; like no good; incomplete except my hands were above like I was in distress. |
The recreational angler was nice enough to stop his motor and about a mile later the fish started to settle down. I must have poled and SLOWLY used my electrics to half circle the fish from a great distance. |
I had room to work the rolling mini-Henry; and Roger Hanger of TN put the fly among the herd and got tight on a big brown cow. The fish did not cooperate properly as it inhaled the fly it came to us. Hanger hit him with the rod hand and it bent and then the fish turned away but the fly came out its mouth. Folks that not what I wanted. Minimal success. |
This is the same with my walk with the Lord Jesus. I want more but I know not how to get it other than to join Him in heaven. Patiently I await his presence. Like the big tarpon only giving me a little satisfaction, perhaps if I honor His law and glorify and praise Him more, then will my anglers have better poon success. |
Meanwhile the weather could not be better. It is a great to be alive. The forecast is so simple. Synopsis; High pressure will remain in place across the coastal waters through Thursday. |
I love my job again and I hope you can find great value in yours. That is my thought for you. |
Have a great Sabbath day and God Bless You. |
My expectations is bring forth the gospel to Roger and Robert and have Church on the boat today, they said I would be preaching to the choir. Yeah, right! |
